School… Parents… Society… They lied.
They told me:
Get good grades.
Follow the rules.
Wait until you’re older.
And for years, I believed them.
I thought perfect grades would equal success.
I thought my value was measured by letters on paper.
I thought I had to wait until adulthood to start building my dream life.
I spent years “being a good student,” checking all the boxes.
And yet… I didn’t feel closer to my dreams.
I felt trapped in a system designed to make me obedient (obedient, not capable)
Then one day, it hit me: almost all of it was a lie.
The 3 Biggest Lies We’re Told
Lie #1: School = Success
Grades matter. But they don’t make you skilled, wealthy, or fulfilled.
They make you a number. You can ace every test and still have zero clue how to start a business, solve a real problem, or create something people care about.
Lesson learnt -
Grades make you a number.
Lie #2: Your Marks Define You
I used to feel smart with an A…
And like a failure with a B (never got a B before but yeah)
But here’s the truth:
The real world doesn’t care about your report card.
It cares about what you can actually do.
Can you create? Can you sell? Can you solve problems?
Well, sorry to say, that’s what matters.
Lesson learnt -
Your skills, creativity, and your ability to solve real life problems defines your potential.
Lie #3: Wait Until You’re Grown
“You’re too young.”
“Focus on school first.”
“You have time.”
I listened. And guess what?
Time went by. (And I got nowhere.)
Lesson learnt-
Waiting for the “right time” only wastes your most valuable resource; TIME.
I failed a lot.
I doubted myself a lot.
(But I had a way better time than just “OBEYING”)
The Hard Truth
This path isn’t easy. It’s lonely.
People judge you.
Parents doubt you.
Friends don’t get you.
(And some days, you don’t even get yourself)
But here’s the truth;
Most kids… Most people…
Stick to the safe path… They obey… They listen
Thats’s a reason why most people don’t live up to their full potential.
My Challenge to You
Don’t wait. Don’t ask. Don’t look for permission.
Start something small this week:
Because school, parents, and society…
they’ll never give you the truth.
You have to claim it.

It’s basically the same ideas, just in video form; going through the lies I realized.
